Workshop on vegetative propagation by woody cuttings

The workshop provides theoretical foundations and includes a practical demonstration of methods for propagating woody plants from different types of cuttings. It will take place in two sessions – the first part will focus on the physiological basis of successful vegetative propagation, while the second part will include a practical demonstration and an evaluation of the rooting success of cuttings from various woody plant species.

First session: Thursday, April 9th 2026, at 9:00 AM

Second session: end of August 2026

Location: Biotechnical Faculty – lecture room and greenhouses of the Department of Agronomy (Jamnikarjeva 101, Ljubljana)

Duration of the first session: 9:00 – 11:30 AM
