Sustainable Guidelines for Urban Greening – Professional Challenges in Managing Public Spaces with Trees, Roses, and Perennials from Design to Implementation and Maintenance
Using specific examples, the workshop will present cases of good and poor practice. The event also provides an excellent opportunity for exchanging professional opinions.
The professional workshop will take place on Thursday, October 14th 2021, at two locations: Trajnice Strgar Nursery and Arboretum Volčji Potok.

Exhibition Tour: Captured Landscapes
In collaboration with the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, a series of landscape architectural drawings is exhibited in Arboretum Volčji Potok. The works depict the diversity of Slovenian landscape motifs, each rendered multiple times throughout the year. Through careful observation, they record the metamorphosis of space, plant growth, weather phenomena, and other changing conditions.
The student sketches were created under the mentorship of assist. prof. Mateja Kregar Tršar, MSc, and assoc. prof. Valentina Schmitzer, PhD. The sketch panels will be installed within the park landscape of Arboretum Volčji Potok until February 2022.
